WING Coimbra is

- a meeting point in Coimbra for women from all over the world
- a platform for contact, questions and answers
- a network for information
Meetings
We organize meetings several times a year with a presentation and dinner. We try to watch over a variety of interesting subjects and guarantee meetings have either intellectual or cultural items (view page history). The target is always that we learn from the events. Meetings around the year are:
- March 8 (International Women’s Day) (dinner)
- November 13 (São Martinho das Mulheres, the day when in some regions of Portugal it is a costume that also women taste the quality of the new wine) (dinner)
- new years meeting (second week of the new year) ( lunch)
Informal meetings
Besides these events we organize informal meetings every first Friday of the month in Galeria Bar Santa Clara where we meet to chat about any subject that interests us. Learning, exchange of information and helping each other if possible is our aim.

International
It is our ambition that at least 1/3 of our group consists of Portuguese women; the other part is composed of women from all over the world (16 nationalities). This is the reason that the presentations are held in either Portuguese or English language.
Future
International Women’s day has been celebrated worldwide for 100 years (1910-2010), WING Coimbra is only 5 years young now. We wish our group of women a long life and interesting future.
